CCDPM Trainee Travel Awards – Winter 2026

Funding for the Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management’s (CCDPM)Trainee Travel Award is made available by the Reichwald Family Southern Medical Program Chair in Preventive Medicine. The awards are designed to support travel costs to research meetings or conferences for CCDPM trainees. Deadline to apply is March 6, 2026.

CCDPM Open Access Awards

The Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management (CCDPM) Open Access Award consists of a competition open to CCDPM-affiliated trainees. It aims to build capacity within the Centre for wider dissemination of trainees’ work and to help put research in the hands of people who can use it. Successful applicants will be awarded up to $1500 Canadian to publish their manuscript in an open access journal with article processing fee’s paid by the CCDPM. 2026 competition details will be posted shortly. 

CCDPM Seed Grant Program

The Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Seed Grants are intended to provide seed funding for research activities that will facilitate the preparation of operating grant applications in the near future. The fall 2025 competition will have $60K to disburse with a maximum of $20K per project. The Fall 2026 application will open in November 2026.
